MAKE IT HAPPEN

Make It Happen tool

A planner or an agenda helps you to organise your busy self and urgent matters in a way that enables you to be more efficient and get more things done.

But if ten-twenty years from now you were to look back at today, how many of the things that are urgent and keep you busy actually matter?

With Make It Happen, I encourage people to dream big, to build a roadmap between that dream and where they are today and to take action and advance every day towards what they truly want. We are all busy and we all do urgent stuff, the difference that makes the difference is having a purpose and a dream, knowing why we do what we do and always advancing towards our dreams.

What is Make It Happen?

This is why Make It Happen is a tool and a companion, not just a planner. The rules I laid down provide a frame, a way of thinking; the users’ manual shows you why and how to think from big picture, your dreams, towards small, achievable milestones you work on every day and the monthly, weekly and daily spreads enable you to write down your plan of action. A few questions will keep you focused on what’s truly important to you and the review pages will show you when and how you work at your best and also allow you to document your progress and gain traction and motivation.

Here’s what’s between the two purple covers of Make It Happen:

  • A5 format, 248 pages over 3 months, undated
  • My letter with the 5 rules for success
  • Your purpose for using this tool
  • The users’ manual
  • Guiding for dreaming big and setting achievable goals
  • 2020 calendar
  • Monthly planning
  • Habit tracker
  • Weakly planning
  • Two pages dedicated to each day – schedule, guiding and questions, learnings
  • Monthly review
  • Quarterly review
  • Idea tracker
  • Notes

How do you use the Make It Happen tool?

  • Set-up: Your dreams are important, therefore you want to allow yourself enough time to dream big, to set your goals (the roadmap) and to ensure you know how to make the most of this tool.
  • Ongoing: Give yourself 10-15 minutes each day, split between morning and evening, to prepare for the day and then to review your progress. You’ll need an additional 10-20 minutes at the begging and end of weeks and months, to review your progress and set / update your goals.
  • You can subscribe to the monthly Make It Happen newsletter (English only), which has a monthly theme, additional coaching, resources and tips that support you to achieve your goals and dreams.
  • If you feel you need additional support or someone to keep you accountable, you can choose to attend the quarterly online worksop as well.
  • On top of this, you can work together with me on a 1-to-1 quarterly coaching call as well, if you still feel there are things holding you back from achieving what you want.

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got” – Henry Ford

And if you’re not happy with what you’ve got, it’s time to dream big and invest in and commit to your dreams. When you invest and commit to your dreams and when you take a (small) step towards them every single day, you make them come true.
